privacy policy.

1. who we are.

Maai® Designs is a web design studio operated by 2555 Ventures LLC, based in Savannah, Georgia. when we say "we," "us," or "our" in this policy, we mean 2555 Ventures LLC doing business as Maai® Designs.

2. what we collect.

we collect only what you choose to give us through one of three forms, plus the usage information described at the end of this section.

• inquiry form (home page). your name, an optional business name, your email address, an optional phone number, and a message describing what you are looking for. it is sent to Formspree.
• free audit form (/audit/). your name, business name, email address, an optional phone number, your website address or a box saying you do not have a website yet, and the kind of business you run. it is sent to Formspree.
• wedding form (/weddings/). your names, email address, an optional wedding date, city, and a note about what you want the weekend to feel like. this form is not handled on maaidesigns.com. it is sent to maaiservices.com, operated by our sister property Maai® Services, where it is stored with Upstash and emailed to us through Resend. the Maai® Services privacy policy covers that data.

the example forms on the weddings page are demonstrations only. nothing you type into them is sent or stored.

we also collect usage information automatically through Google Analytics, described in section 4, and our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps).

3. how we use it.

we use the information you submit to respond to your inquiry, understand what you need, and follow up if you have asked us to. we do not use your information for purposes unrelated to the conversation you started with us.

4. cookies and analytics.

this site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use it. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies and collects information such as pages viewed, time on site, referring sites, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from your IP address. we also record when someone clicks a booking link or submits one of our forms, but not what was entered in the form.

we have turned off Google signals, ad personalization, and Google's data sharing settings, and we do not use Google Analytics for advertising. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

on the weddings page, your browser's session storage keeps a single flag so the opening animation plays only once per visit. it contains no personal information and is cleared when you close the tab.

you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics on all sites with Google's browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. the site works normally either way.

5. service providers.

these are the companies that receive information from this site:

• Vercel Inc. hosts maaidesigns.com and keeps the server logs described in section 2.
• Formspree, Inc. receives the inquiry form and the free audit form and delivers them to us by email.
• Google LLC provides Google Analytics, described in section 4. if you use our book a call link, Google Calendar handles that booking on Google's own site.
• Maai® Services (maaiservices.com) receives the wedding form. it stores submissions with Upstash and sends them to us by email through Resend. see the Maai® Services privacy policy.

these providers process data on our behalf and are not authorized to use it for their own purposes. we select providers with appropriate security practices, but we do not control their infrastructure.

6. sharing and selling.

we do not sell your personal information. we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. we do not provide it to data brokers. the only parties who receive your information are Vercel, Formspree, Google, and, for the wedding form, Maai® Services with Upstash and Resend, as listed in section 5. each receives it only to the extent necessary to operate the site and deliver our services.

7. retention.

we keep inquiry data for as long as the business relationship or conversation remains active, plus a reasonable period afterward in case you return. you can ask us to delete your information at any time by contacting us at the address below.

8. security.

we use commercially reasonable measures to protect the information you provide, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS) and access controls. no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. your choices and rights.

you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information we hold about you by emailing us. if you are located in a jurisdiction with specific data-protection rights (such as the GDPR, CCPA, or similar laws), we will honour those rights. we aim to respond to requests within 30 days.

10. children.

this site is not directed at anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. if we learn that we have collected personal information from a child, we will delete it promptly.

11. other sites.

our site links to other Maai® properties and to third-party websites. this privacy policy applies only to maaidesigns.com. we are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites, and we encourage you to read their policies.

12. changes.

we may update this policy from time to time. if we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
